Milan Design Week 2025

Milan Design Week has been the biggest and most challenging project I’ve managed so far. What began as a search for the right stage to showcase our student initiatives (Design Talent Studio, Project o.0, and more) turned into something deeply personal: returning not as a student, but as a professional with an exhibition of "my own".

It was a first for the brand, and for me. Taking full responsibility for one of Europe’s most important design events was both an honor and a huge learning experience.

I’ve come to understand what it truly takes to bring a creative vision to life - one that resonates, interacts, and leaves a lasting impression. Below you will find the roles I took on during this project.

Art Direction

Together with my colleagues from the brand team, we developed a communication strategy for the event and its rollout. The art direction of the content was shaped collaboratively with our in-house content creator, brand experts, and communication specialists.

I was actively involved in all aspects of the process, with a specific focus on overseeing the content creation and communication for the student project, as well as all live on-site content during Design Week

Project Management

I managed the entire Milan project from A to Z—overseeing every stage from initial planning to final execution.

My responsibilities included budget planning and control, location scouting, stakeholder coordination, supplier sourcing, creative concept development and briefings, asset production, logistics and on-site coordination, exhibition build-up, as well as both internal and external communication.

Moderation

Design Week was packed with a diverse daily program - from portfolio reviews and project pitches to family days and panel discussions.

I was responsible for organising and moderating the overall schedule, and together with our internal students, we presented Project o.0 and the Design Talent Studio to the public and selected media guests.

Talent Scouting

Instead of handing out giveaways, we chose to offer something more meaningful - our time.

Throughout the week, we hosted over 50 interviews with emerging talents, meeting students not only from local Italian schools but also from across Europe who traveled specifically to visit our student exhibition and join pre-scheduled sessions inside the Zeekr MIX.

Exhibition Design

I was involved in shaping the creative concept and designing the exhibition space, including the curation of all brand assets on display.

From strategy to execution, my role included collaboratively developing the narrative and visitor flow, exploring spatial concepts, coordinating with the build agency, selecting colors and materials, and curating the final asset presentation.

Brand Asset Production

I closely supervised the internal production of the physical models for the student project o.0, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the process.

This included delegating key tasks such as the refinement of digital models, preparing files for rapid prototyping, defining color and material finishes, overseeing painting and detail assembly, and coordinating the final transport to Milan.
