Thesis
Mentoring
A thesis is more than just a final project - it's a personal deep dive into a topic that matters.
As a mentor, I see it as my role to support, challenge, and guide students through this journey, helping them shape their vision into a clear, compelling narrative.
The real challenge lies in finding your own voice within the framework of a brand’s DNA - balancing personal expression with strategic relevance. For many, it’s the last chance to fully express themselves through a project that is entirely their own, before stepping into the professional world.

I’ve chosen to highlight Korbinian’s work because I found his dedication to exploring new fabrication methods truly inspiring. He drew trends from the fashion and footwear industries and translated them into a fresh, material-driven perspective on automotive design.
I followed his journey from the very beginning — starting as an intern, then developing his thesis with us, all the way to his graduation show in Munich.

WHY
It Matters
A thesis isn’t just about completing a degree - it’s often the first moment a student takes full ownership of their design direction.
As a mentor, I have the chance to help shape this transition, ensuring the work is not only personally meaningful but also strategically relevant in a professional context.

HOW
It Works
Through regular mentoring sessions, I guide students in refining their concepts, aligning them with brand values, and strengthening their storytelling. It’s a balance of open dialogue, critical feedback, and strategic direction - tailored to each student’s process and vision.

WHAT
We Achieve
Together, we develop a thesis that is not only creatively strong but also relevant and forward-thinking. The goal is a portfolio-defining project that reflects the student’s unique voice while demonstrating their ability to think and design at a professional level.
